Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is live on stage this weekend at Stuart Country Day School – get your tickets now! This wonderful musical features the story of the cold-hearted prince turned Beast, and only the love of beautiful Belle can save him. Stuart’s Upper School production includes all your favorite music and characters including Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts and Chip, and of course, the narcissistic Gaston! Cotsen Children’s Library on the Princeton University campus presents Wand Works, featuring woodworker Lane O’Neil displaying handmade wands and talking about the wand-carving process. Head to the Old Barracks Museum in Trenton for a historical glimpse into the lives of African American soldiers that helped shape our nation’s history. You might know all about the local wildflowers, but what do you know about our native mushrooms? Learn all about the role that fungi plays in the life of the plants we love, and learn amazing facts about the mushrooms that dot our woods and fields in Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve’s ‘Mushrooms Matter,’ a lecture led by an award winning conservationist.
