Kids ages 18 months to 5 years old will have fun at the Hickory Corner Branch of the Mercer County Library on Thursday 2/11 at 10:30a. They’ll celebrate love and friendship with games, songs, stories, a craft and a snack!
This is Why We Heart You
Children and teens are invited to create handmade Valentine cards for family and friends at the Princeton Public Library on Friday February 12th from 4-5p. Members of the library’s Teen Advisory Board will be on hand to help and provide inspiration. The event will be in the Story Room.
Valentine’s Crafting for Colin’s Kids
Join Twirl Toy Shop through February 13th to create hand-crafted Valentine’s! Your $5 donation goes to a great cause – Colin’s Kids, a local organization whose mission is to help children with heart defects. Cuban Rhythms: Live Drumming & Free Salsa Dance Lessons
In anticipation of West Windsor Arts Center’s big annual fundraising event, this year themed “Havana Nights”, the WWAC is bringing a little Cuba to MarketFair Mall for a fun, free event on Saturday, February 13th. From 10a-2p enjoy a FREE Latin Percussion Performance and demonstration featuring Afro-Cuban instruments and rhythms with audience participation. Followed by FREE Salsa dancing with Jersey Dance from 2:30-4p. Additionally, Corner Bakery will be serving FREE coffee and muffins for the morning drum session AND for mommies and daddies enjoy $5 Drink + food specials at Big Fish Seafood Grill and Bahama Breeze Island Grille (Chicken quesadillas, beef empanadas and coco shrimp, Margaritas, White or red sangria and Mojito).
Birdie Be Mine
It’s Family Fun Day at the new Pinot’s Palette Princeton on Saturday February 13th from 11a-1p! Family members will paint the adorable “Birdie Be Mine” painting on a 16×20 canvas!
Art for Families: Art From the Heart
This Saturday February 13th from 10:30a to 1p, drop into the Princeton University Art Museum with the kids to enjoy an engaging gallery activity, followed by a related art project. This week’s theme is love stories that inspired some of the works in the Museum’s collection and create a masterpiece.
Valentine’s Day Rides Howell Living Farm
Enjoy a horse drawn bobsled (or wagon) ride at Howell Living History Farm on Saturday February 13th. Weather permitting rides are offered free, on a first come, first serve basis. Enjoy hot chocolate and a fire pit to warm up!
Valentine’s Cookie Decorating Whole Foods
Bring the little cookie lovers by for a fun pre-Valentine’s Day activity at Whole Foods Princeton. Kids will learn how to decorate a large heart-shaped cookie with cookie expert, Margarita Ehrig of Oky’s Cookies, that they will get to take home. Ages 4 and up. All supplies will be provided and additional cookies will be available to purchase for a second creation. Registration is required for each child attending, and space is limited.
