Summer Respite

We’re on hiatus.  That’s right a little R&R…va-cay…quiet time. While we gear up for the fall and work on updating our free iPhone app.

We want to take a moment and thank all of our wonderful summer interns. Kevin, who worked on the mobile app both in Princeton and in Lambertville and is now in Denmark studying abroad.  Kali, who also worked on the Princeton Mobile App and is currently looking for a full time position in Social Media and photography.  Alexandra who worked on our video team and just moved to Washington, DC to work with CNN.  Bridgette who worked on our wonderful Random Acts of Kindness Project and is studying this semester in Florence, Italy .Cody who is off to Dartmouth and got a good taste of marketing this summer. Lastly to Grace, a student at Columbia, who worked very diligently this summer as part of our editorial team working on the weekly newsletters and blog.

We had a wonderful summer of learning and growing together and we are grateful for your time and hard work.  Thank you.

To our community members we hope you are recovering well from the Hurricane.  We did our best to bring folks timely updates about roads, conditions and emergency services (mostly via twitter)  We remind you that if you know someone without power please be a god neighbor and see how you can help them.  Our community can be strengthened in times of trouble if we reach out to each other and act with kindness.

We’ll be back in a few weeks and we’ll be better than ever.

Cheers!  Melissa
