Thursday, December 12
A concert that’s guaranteed to get your feet tapping – musician So Percussion’s Jason Treuting at Princeton. So Percussion is a Brooklyn, NY based group that experiments with sounds from found objects, creating fascinating rhythms and compositions using whatever crosses their paths. Join Treuting & his band as he performs with students from his fall class at Princeton. The musicians will perform original compositions in the free performance, which will be followed by a meet & greet.  FREE, 7:30pm.

The outdoor market season has passed, but the Princeton Farmer’s Market rolls on, with monthly indoor markets held at the Princeton Public Library. Visit the library Community Room between 11am-5pm to shop produce, cheese, baked goods, gifts and more from local vendors. Do your holiday gift shopping and stock your pantry, all in one stop! FREE, 11am-5pm.

Friday, December 13
Get into the holiday spirit with local musicians at the Arts Council of Princeton’s Sound Bites. This edition of Sound Bites will feature holiday-themed music, with Princeton’s beloved singer/songwriter Sarah Donner along with friends Jeannette Lynne, John Anealio and Sheltered Turtle. PS – Make it a date night: Bring your ticket to Mediterra after the show for a free tapas. $10, 8:00pm.

Saturday, December 14
It’s the 10th anniversary of a collaboration that’s become a Princeton tradition: The Princeton High School Choir hits the stage with the Princeton Symphony Orchestra for Holiday POPS! at Princeton University’s Richardson Auditorium. Conductor Rossen Milanov leads the performance with a program of marches, dances and even a sing-along. Tickets start at $25, 4:00pm.

Bundle up for a Day at the Farm at Terhune Orchards! Wagon rides, pony rides, and hot mulled wine spell out a day of seasonal fun for everyone. Don’t forget to visit the barnyard animals and buy a few sweet treats to take home. For the grown ups: enjoy a free wine tasting from Terhune’s own winery. FREE, 9am-5pm.

Sunday, December 15
Illustrator Charles Santore visits JaZams on Palmer Square for a children’s book signing. You’ll recognize his handiwork from classics such as ‘The Little Mermaid,’ ‘The Classic Tale of Peter Rabbit,’ and ‘The Night Before Christmas.’ (And that list just scratches the surface…) He’ll be signing copies of the books – what a sweet Christmas gift that would make! FREE, 12-2pm.
