Make a reservation and enjoy a great meal, or do some early holiday shopping knowing that it will benefit the Princeton Adult School’s excellent programming. Who wants to get on stage? Kids of all ages can join in on stage or behind the scenes at the Community Play Workshop presented by the Arts Council of Princeton. The Variety Theater presents ‘Jack and the Beanstalk: Panto in the British Style,’ at the Princeton Shopping Center, and everyone’s invited to get involved! FREE, 6:30pm.


Friday, November 8
Get a jump on your holiday shopping at a special event at the Hopewell Train Station. ‘Transformations’ is an annual Art & Craft show featuring 14 local artists. Work ranges from jewelry to ceramics to stained glass, delicate origami, mosaics, wooden wares and more. The show runs Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm, but visit for an opening reception this Friday from 6-9pm.

Saturday, November 9
From the team that brought you ‘Art All Night’, it’s ‘Art All Day’ by Artworks Trenton! This event showcases over 65 local artists in an afternoon of open studios. Take a self-guided tour and go behind the scenes, watching artists at work, discussing the creative process, and seeing lots of unique art. Pick up a map at Artworks and go exploring! FREE, 12-5pm.

Commemorate Veterans’ Day with the Princeton Battlefield Society at Battlefield Park. Meet at the columns to offer respects to veterans of all generations, and learn about the fundraising campaign to restore the grave site. Take a tour of the park at 1pm. FREE, 1pm.

Shop the West Windsor Community Farmers’ Market in its second-to-last weekend of the 2013 Season. Pack your reusable totes with local produce, breads, cheeses, sweets and more, while enjoying live music. Plus, bring your old bikes for the West Windsor Bicycle & Pedestrian Alliance’s Bike Drive (to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Trenton.) FREE, 9am-1pm.

Sunday, November 10

Join the Richardson Chamber Players this Sunday afternoon in Princeton University’s Richardson Auditorium for ‘Brass Bonanza.’ The resident ensemble will get your toe tapping with a presentation of pieces by Gabrieli, Gershwin, Boehme, Sanford & Brahms. $15, 3pm.
