Princeton Scoop Kids Weekend Guide 7/25-7/26

It’s the weekend moms and dads! After sleeping in late (yea right), head to one of our picks for weekend fun! After dinner, visit one of Princeton’s kid-friendly ice cream shops or get ready for the week ahead with make-your-own camp supplies at Sticks and Stones Toy Shop.

For little scoops:
Head to the New Jersey State Museum to see their new planetarium show Rusty Rocket’s Last Blast. Perfect for young children, join Rusty as he gives an introduction to the solar system. The show is Saturdays in the summer at 1pm.

For medium scoops:
Get super slimey at Mad Science! Kids ages 6-10 are invited to explore, play and create with Polymers at this science workshop at the Hightstown Library on Saturday. Kids can even bring their own slime home! The workshop starts at 2pm and you can register here.

For big scoops:
Join the Trenton Thunder as they take on the Binghamton Mets at 5pm on Sunday July 26th. After the game, kids 12 and under can run the bases and the first 1,000 fans 14 and over get a duffle bag. Get tickets for the game here. Trenton Thunder Arm & Hammer Park One Thunder Road Trenton, NJ
