Princeton is a wonderful place to break out the sneakers and take a nice long run around town or towpath. Running can be a great way to have some alone time, release stress, or exercise. But did you ever think that you could put it to the test? Well, the Princeton Athletic Club had the community in mind when they began organizing a 6k cross country run.
If running more often was your new year’s resolution and haven’t started, then let this cross country run be your calling. As spring starts poking its head, shake off the winter blues with a run around the grounds of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. It’s time to leave the winter coats behind and run into spring.
As their most popular event, the Princeton Athletic Club encourages everyone to sign up early because there are no registrations on the day of the race. There is also a 150-participant limit and they go faster than Princeton’s best runners! The event will promptly begin at 10 am and there will be a parking area at the Crossroads School, so make sure to save the date for Saturday, April 21.
