Last February, we introduced you to Good Grief, a nonprofit organization that recently joined our Princeton community. Good Grief provides free support to families who’ve experienced the loss of a parent or child. With a thriving center in Morristown, NJ, the organization came to Princeton to grow its area of service and to connect with more families in need.
One year later, Good Grief’s Princeton program has provided support to nearly 100 participants and trained 27 volunteers since opening its doors on Stockton Street. As its one year anniversary approaches, Good Grief’s team is looking back at what they’ve accomplished in the first year, and making big plans for the years to come.
Joe Primo, CEO of Good Grief writes, “We are grateful for all of the support from our friends, families, volunteers, and community partners. Due to their belief in our services we have been able to grow our free programs, strengthen our foundation, and take root in the Princeton community. There’s so much more to do, but on this night we hope you will join us as we reflect back, and look toward an even greater future.”
