Rock n’ roll fans won’t want to miss the first day of the newest exhibit at Morven Museum & Garden! ‘Bruce Springsteen: A Photographic Journey,’ has come to Morven from the GRAMMY museum in LA and features of 40 photos of the legendary NJ rocker, along with video interviews with the five photographers whose work tells the story: Danny Clinch, Ed Gallucci, Eric Meola, Pamela Springsteen, and Frank Stefanko. $10, 10am-4pm. www.morven.org

Join in at the Fall Barn Dance at Howell Living History Farm this Friday! The Jugtown Mountain Spring Band and caller Sue Dupre will keep things lively in the heated, 1850’s era barn as dancers of all ages try out square dancing, circle dances, and contra dances from the historical farm’s era, 1890-1910. Saturday November 19
The YWCA Princeton hosts its annual Crafters Marketplace this weekend, starting on Saturday morning. Held at John Witherspoon Middle School, the juried event features over 85 local artisans and their handcrafted work, from jewelry to pottery, clothing to food, and more! The admission fee supports the Pearl Bates Scholarship Fund, which allows those in need to have access to YWCA programs and services. $8, 10am-5pm.

The Big Man himself – of course we mean Santa Claus, in this case – will make his grand entrance at Shady Brook Farm in Yardley, PA this Saturday morning… by chopper, no less. After landing, he’ll meet and greet with kids, and pose for family photos in the farms’ greenhouse, while taking notes on what everyone wants for Christmas. Palmer Square will be alight with paper lanterns this Saturday night for the annual Community Lantern Walk, sponsored by the Waldorf School of Princeton and jaZams. Make and bring or buy a paper lantern at the toy store, gather in Palmer Square and join in for a moonlit walk through town, ending with a sing-along with hot cider and cookies.
